Have you wondered how to take great shots of your products or want to be able to take your own family photos for the holidays? Maybe you have a camera but not sure where to start? Or you might have some experience but would like to take your skills to the next level.

Join Sara for an intimate hands-on DSLR camera workshop in a welcoming and easy going environment. She'll break down terms and basic camera skills, support you in hands-on practice and understanding more when working with natural lighting.

Her personal focus and experience is working with brands shooting their products and lifestyle shots (plus she always enjoy taking pictures of her little one) using natural light and minimal equipment. You can have a peek at her work here.

Location: Bluhouse Market + Cafe in Deep Cove. 4342 Gallant Ave, North Vancouver.

Date: Saturday October 21st 2017

Time: 9am-11am

Investment: $115 per person

  • a 30 minute follow up or trouble shooting session via e-mail that you can use anytime.

What to expect:

We will take the first hour inside the cafe to cover: introductions, how to use your camera, lenses, iso/shutter speed/aperture and working with natural light. Then we will spend 40 minutes hands-on outdoors and trouble shooting. We will have a 20 minute wrap up/warm up back inside the cafe to discuss post-editing and any further questions.

What to bring: 

  • DSLR camera (charged)

  • any camera lenses you have for that camera base

  • note book + pen

  • outdoor appropriate clothing + footwear. please bring layers as we will be working inside as well.

  • a list of questions you are curious about (if you have any that pertain to a certain image please save that image so we can reference it).

  • good vibes + a smile
